Made a trip up to Michigan to talk to the local club, mainly juniors about cycling and my experiences as this is where I started. We did a spin class and watched the spring cycling season at Marian of my freshman year. So funny for me, but maybe confusing to others.
On the way back from the spin class my father and I stopped by a cemetery where a lot of my ancestry's are buried. I've been doing some researching lately on my family history/tree. It's been pretty interesting so far.
From there I headed over to Jack's Bicycle Shop. It's only the best shop around.
On the way over I saw the river was frozen, but the real cool thing is how it froze when the water level was much higher. You can see the ice still stuck around the trees where the water level was once earlier in the season. Since then it has dropped.
On the way back to Indy I stopped off in Ohio to pick up some new team stuff. Mainly the clothes and the bike, so basically the best things. Here's are bike.
Still have to ride it outside as when I returned the following day it started to snow and it dumped just about 13" of snow in the area. Just so happens to be the sixth heaviest snow fall for Indianapolis. Just another great element in what has been a fantastically bad winter. Pictures are of Lucy playing in the snow, and of a training road even impassible by mountain bike.
